Tornados

Hailey came home from school last week and said that a kid in her class asked the teacher where tornados come from, and he teacher replied "Tornados come when Jesus is mad." Funny...didn't think religion was a subject in Kindergarten. I was pretty shocked, and told Jordan about it, and we then proceeded to tell her that her teacher was wrong and where tornados really came from. I'm very grateful for Hailey's teacher in some ways, because despite his short comings (which most of you already know about) I must admit he is excellent in teaching school cirriculum and Hailey has learned and grown amazingly this year...I won't go on to brag about her...HOWEVER, teaching kids things like Tornados and Jesus being mad is just really out there for me. I don't know if I should mention anything to him yet...but it's just amazing the things kids pick up and "learn" from school. I have always been very pro active in talking to Hailey about school every day because of this very reason...Scary! I can't imagine what's to come in the future...home school anyone?? (:
