Play Time
I was on my computer this morning listening to my kids' really loud music for over 30 minutes...and then I realize that I don't know where my kids are...so I open the door and find Hailey and Luke jammin away. It was nice that they destroyed Ben's room before they danced, but whatever. It was cute that they were dancing together. I think my kids need to get out more... (:

The Marriage Tag
What are your names? Jordan Welsh Wilde and Tanya Marie (McKnight) Wilde
How long have you been together? 6 years in November...wow, has it really been that long??
How long did you date? HA! Depends on who you ask...if you ask me, we dated for 3 months and separated for 1 month because I wanted to marry Jordan and he didn't want to get married...so I left for Utah for a month until he finally decided he wanted to marry me. If you ask Jordan, we dated for 4 months and I cheated on him, lol. Tomato, Tomato. Either way, I got my man!
How old are you? Jordan just turned 27 in April, I'll be 26 in October...now ask me how old I FEEL...?
Who eats more? Definitely Jordan...hims a big boy. (: But, when I'm pregnant I can give him a run for his money...although I shouldn't.
Who said I love you first? Jordan, on our 3rd date! I looked at him like he was crazy and said "That's nice." Lol.
Who is taller? Jordan > 6ft Me > 5'8''
Who is smarter? We are both equally very smart...sometimes too smart for our own good. Jordan can sell the pants off of anyone, and I too know a lot of useless information...why is that?? I could definitely be smarter than a 5th grader or be a Millionaire.
Who does the laundry? Right now, my younger sister Elise. I'm too fat and prego to do it. She's awesome at it! I hate laundry, so when I'm in charge of it, it doesn't get done as often...but they smell good!
Who does the dishes? Again, right now it's either Elise or on rare occasions, Jordan. I can't bend over too well. And to Jordan's credit, he works 14 hour days...so he's not really expected to do too much house work. I love him. He's spoiled.
Who pays the bills? Duh, ME! So Jordan doesn't see how much I spend...Lisa, girl you got it backwards!
Who mows the lawn? That's all Jordan's department. He takes great pride in our yard, and he's very good at it too. Our grass is like walking on a luxury golf course. No joke.
Who cooks dinner? That's all me. The ONE thing I can do around the house. I like it too! I just recently dubbed myself queen of the grill. I'm very proud...and humble. (:
Who drives when you are together? Are you kidding??!! Jordan would probably have a brain aneurysm if I drove while he was in the car. Seriously, I can count on one hand the number of times I've driven with him in the car...in 6 years! He has his own issues and reasons for it...I gave up 3 years ago.
Who is more stubborn? We're both really stubborn..I'm just loud and obnoxiously stubborn. Jordan is the quiet stubborn. Now that I think about it, I'm probably the most stubborn...whatever.
Who kissed who first? I don't like this question...so after our 2nd date, I tired to kiss Jordan, because I knew we both wanted it, but that boy pulled away from me, and shook my hand goodnight! NOT because he was a gentleman or didn't want it, because he kissed me on our 3rd date the very next night....but because HE wanted to kiss me. He was in charge. Punk!
Who asked who out first? Jordan had to ask me out twice before I would say yes...long story, but it's a funny one!
Who proposed? Well, it was really no surprise, because I was living in Utah, and he came to visit me from Houston for a week and we talked about getting married there and made plans for it...but on his flight back home to Houston, he wrote me a full page poem and officially proposed to me in that. It is seriously the sweetest and cutest thing I've read!
Who has more siblings? For a while, I had 4 and he had 3, but Jordan's parents adopted a 4th a couple years ago, so now we're equal...except mine are almost all girls, and his are all boys.
Who wears the pants in the family? For a while, I used to take pride in saying that I did...but that's changed a lot over the years, and I'm very happy to say that we're equal in the pants sharing department. (I gave him a leg :)
I tag anyone who has the time to do this...it's actually quite fun. Thanks Lisa!

Hailey's First Dance Recital
We had a really busy weekend with Hailey's first recital...I got to be a stage mom which was fun and interesting...but mainly lots of work taking care of over 40 girls (all under the age of 6) backstage for 2 hours. Yeah, I'm exhausted...but it was well worth it. Hailey did so good, and was definitely the best dancer in her class...and I'm not just saying that because I'm her Mom. (: She makes it easy to be a proud Mom. I hope she continues to enjoy dancing for a while, because she really does have a talent for it. If it's not dance...then hopefully it's something else girly in the future...apparently she's going to be my only girl, so I'm hanging on to her for as long as she'll let me! My favorite picture is of her and Jordan...he was so proud of his little girl too...very sweet!

Little Miss Sunshine
Hailey's been in tap and ballet classes since last August and her big recital is in 2 weeks. Wednesday, we had her recital pictures and class pictures in their costumes, and afterwards I asked Hailey to show me some of her dance moves. My pictures didn't turn out so good because there was no lighting in the studio, but I'll post the professional ones when I get them in...they turned out SO CUTE! She looked very pretty with mommy's make-up on too, that was a BIG thing for her by the way. She's a whole lot better when her music is going...we're just "practicing."
